Wyandot Elementary School Holiday Picture Contest, Winter 2015

We held a contest for all third graders at Wyandot Elementary School in Dublin, Ohio. The children were asked to draw a picture and write about what the holidays mean to them. The top three finalists received cash prizes, and an additional donation was made to the school. We used the winner’s picture and words in our annual holiday card: “Why I love the holidays is because I just love the feeling of looking at the present under the lit up tree.  It warms my heart and gets joy in me.  I also love the breakfast.  Egg casserole, cinnamon rolls and other yummy treats that I love to eat with my family.  That is what the holidays mean to me.  Happy New Year!"
